Where you can watch your content

When you buy or rent a movie through an Android TV device, a Google TV device, the Google TV app on an Android device, or YouTube, it’s added to your Library. You can watch the content in your Library across many devices.

Where to watch

Important: On each platform, make sure you sign in to the same account that you used to make your purchase. You can find all your content in your Library.

Watch on a phone or tablet

Google TV mobile app

You can watch movies and shows in the Google TV app on Android and iOS devices.

1. On your phone, open Google TV .
2. Tap Your stuff Library.

YouTube app

1. On your phone, open YouTube .
2. At the bottom, tap Library.
3. Tap Your movies & shows.

Tip: Ads don't play when you watch content you purchased.

Watch in a web browser

YouTube.com

1. In a browser, sign in to https://youtube.com.
2. At the top left, select Menu Movies & TV.
3. Select Purchased.

Watch on a streaming device or smart TV

Google TV devices

1. On your Google TV device, make sure you're signed in to the right account.
2. Go to the Library tab.
3. Select the movie or TV show you want to watch.

Android TV devices

1. On your Android TV device, make sure you’re signed in to the right account.
2. Go to the Shop tab.
3. In the first row with “Your Library,” find your purchased content.
   • If you have more than 10 titles in your library, under “Your Library,” select View all.

Tip: The Shop tab is only available in some regions. If your device doesn't have the Shop tab, you may be able to access your purchased content through the YouTube app or one of the following methods.

YouTube app on other smart TVs

1. On your smart TV, open YouTube .
2. Make sure you're signed in to the right account.
3. Go to the Library tab.
4. Select Your movies and shows.

Movies Anywhere app on smart TVs

Important: Movies Anywhere is only available for eligible titles in the US. You'll also need to connect your Google account to your Movies Anywhere account. For more information, go to Movies Anywhere Support.

1. On your smart TV, open Movies Anywhere.
2. Make sure you’re signed in to the right account.
3. Go to My Movies.
4. Select the movie or TV show you want to watch.

Chromecast devices

You can get movies and shows from Google directly on your TV when your Chromecast has Google TV. Learn how to buy or rent content on Google TV.

For other Chromecast devices, you can stream video to your TV.
