If you forgot to wear your Fitbit device or you want to record an activity that isn't detected automatically, manually log the exercise.
- From the Today tab
in the Fitbit app, tap the + icon in the lower right
Activity.
- Tap a recent activity, or search for an exercise type.
- Enter the activity details, and tap Add or Save.

Activity.Depending on the exercise, you can choose to edit the type of exercise, start and end times, distance covered, and calories burned.

- Tap the exercise you want to edit or delete.
- To delete the exercise, tap the trash icon or 3 dots icon

- To delete the exercise, tap the trash icon or 3 dots icon
- From the Today tab
- Tap the 3 dots icon in the top right
- Choose the time period you want to delete Active Zone Minutes from, and confirm your changes.

- Tap Floors or Steps. Choose the time period you want to delete the data from and confirm your changes.
To edit a sleep log:

Tap the 3 dots icon
- Swipe up to check your sleep sessions, tap the session you want to edit
Note that for devices that receive sleep stages, if you extend your time asleep, you may notice gaps at the beginning or end of your sleep stages.
To delete a sleep log:

Tap the sleep log you want to edit.

If you sign in with your Google Account:
- From the Today tab
- In the Your data in Fitbit section, tap Manage data and privacy
- Swipe up to check your data, then tap a data type.
- Tap Delete to delete all data, or tap a range to delete some data.
- Confirm that you want to delete the data.
If you sign in with your Fitbit login:
- From the Today tab

. If you can't find the Body temperature tile, add it by selecting the pencil icon on the upper right of the Today tab and turning on the switch next to Body temperature
Save. A graph of your body temperatures appears with a list of your temperature history below.
- Tap an individual temperature value.
- Tap the deletion icon in the upper right

Note: If you weigh-in with a Fitbit scale, the Fitbit app records your weight. For Fitbit Aria Air, have the Fitbit app open on your nearby phone when you step on the scale, and save your weight log when prompted. To manually log weight:
, tap the Weight tile.- Swipe up from the clock face on your watch to access Fitbit Today.
- Find the weight tile, and tap the + icon. If you can't find the weight tile, tap Settings
- Tap the check mark icon to log your weight.
- Swipe up from the clock face on your watch to access your widgets.
- Find the weight widget, and tap it. If you can't find the weight widget, tap Manage
- Tap Log.
- Use the - and + icons to adjust your weight, and then tap Save.
To change or delete weight logs:
- From the Today tab
- To delete a weight log, swipe left on it, then tap Delete. To adjust a weight log, tap the log you want to edit and make your changes.
- From the Today tab
- Tap on a weight entry to select it then tap on the entry that you want to edit or delete.
- Tap on the Pencil icon
on the top right to edit or the trash can icon
to delete.
To reassign a weight log:
- From the Today tab
- Tap Recent Weigh-Ins.
- Tap the weigh-in you want to reassign.
- Reassign the weigh-in to the correct person
Track your water intake in the Fitbit app. On Fitbit Versa series, log your water intake on your wrist.
To log water intake:
Fitbit app
- From the Today tab
- At the bottom right, tap Log water.
- Enter the amount of water you drank, then tap Save.
If you can't find the water tile, you can add it by following the step below.
- From the Today tab
Versa, Versa Lite Edition, and Versa 2
- Swipe up from the clock face to check Fitbit Today.
- Locate the water tile. You may have to swipe up to find it. If you can't find the water tile, tap Settings at the bottom of Fitbit Today, and turn on the water tile.
- Tap the
icon on the water tile, and enter the amount of water you drank.
- Tap the check mark.
Sense and Versa 3
- Swipe up from the clock face on your watch to access your widgets.
- Find the water widget, and tap it. If you can't find the water widget, tap Manage
