View your assignments in a class calendar

You can track work and due dates on both your class calendar and your Google calendar. When your teacher creates an assignment in Classroom, you see it on both calendars if you’re using the same account for the 2 calendars.

Note: You can’t add anything to the class calendar—it’s view only.

You can add your own items to your Google Calendar, such as a meeting for a group assignment. You can also see events, such as exam dates and field trips.

View assignment due dates in Classroom

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.

    Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.comLearn more.

  2. At the top, click Menu Menu.

  3. Click Calendar.

  4. Choose an option:
    • To view past or future work, next to the date, click the arrow.

    • To see assignments for all your classes, click All classes.
    • To see assignments for only one class, click All classes and select the class.

  5. Click an assignment or question to open it.

View class events in Google Calendar

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.

    Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.comLearn more.

  2. Click the class.
  3. Choose an option:
    • For classes with the Classwork page, click Classwork and then Google Calendar Google Calendar.

    • For classes without the Classwork page, on the class stream, click Google Calendar.

      You can see all your assignments and class events on the calendar.
