If you have 2 or more Partner Sales Consoles for Google Workspace customers who span multiple currencies, you can unify the consoles into one. Doing so allows you to map customer accounts to a single currency and manage all customers using one Partner Sales Console.
The main console is the one that you migrate customers to. The console or consoles that originally contain the customers are the source consoles. You complete the following steps in both the main and source consoles.
Choose your main console
Review a list of your consoles and decide what console will be your main one. When deciding, you might consider what is your preferred domain and what console (if any):
- Handles Google Cloud customers and Google Voice subscriptions with commitment plans—Migrating these customers is not supported, so you might choose a console that handles Google Cloud and Voice subscriptions as your main console.
- Has the most customers—Migrating customers creates more overhead, so you could choose a console that already has the most customers.
- Is set up with billing accounts in multiple currencies—If you migrate to a console that has some of the currency setup already done, you have fewer steps to complete.
If you are an administrator for:
- The main console—Proceed to the next section.
- The source console or consoles—Proceed to Steps for the source console.

FAQ
General
Can I keep 2 or more consoles after the migration?Yes, but we recommend that you consolidate to a single unified console to improve efficiency.
No. You can't change the commitment or payment currency of a Google Workspace subscription during a migration.
Billing
What is the impact when the billing account changes after a migration? When you migrate a customer from a source console to the main console, the billing account changes. The impact depends on the payment plan the customer uses for their Google Workspace subscription.
Flexible or annual plans with a monthly (postpaid) payment
- The source console is charged a prorated amount for the portion of the last payment month before the customer migration.
- The main console is charged a prorated amount for the portion of the last payment month after the customer migration.
Example
You migrate a customer with a Google Workspace subscription to your main console on October 15. The billing account is charged:
- Source console–The prorated cost of the subscription from October 1 to October 14
- Main console–The prorated cost of the subscription from October 15 to October 31 and then the remaining portion of the subscription on a monthly (postpaid) basis
Annual plans with an annual (prepaid) payment
- The source console is credited a prorated amount for the portion of the commitment remaining at the time of the customer migration.
- The same prorated amount is charged to the main console.
Example
You migrate a customer with a Google Workspace subscription to your main console on October 15. The source console has prepaid for the entire year's commitment. Your October invoice shows:
- Source console–Credited (refunded) the prorated cost of the subscription from October 15 to the end of the subscription period
- Main console–Charged the same prorated cost of the subscription from October 15 to the end of the subscription period
Click Partner billingNew Google Workspace billing account. Alternatively, you can complete this form.
Billing accounts are not migrated from the source console when you migrate customers. After a migration, you receive separate invoices for billing accounts in the source and main consoles.
Connect consoles
Why can't I migrate customers when the admin accepts the invitation? After your consoles are connected, you must wait 7 days before you can migrate customers to the main console. The delay allows you to close the connection if it was created in error.
You can connect a source console to only one main console at a time. To connect to a different main console, close the connection with your existing main console. Then, a different main console can send you an invitation to connect.
Main consoles can be connected to multiple source consoles. If you want to remove a source console, close the connection. If you want to add a new source console, send a new console connection invitation.
Migrate customers
How do I reverse a customer migration?Important: Once completed, you cannot use the Partner Sales Console to reverse customer migrations.
If you need to reverse a migration, request support through the Customer Care Portal.
To ensure that the legal entity doesn't change, select the billing account that has the same legal entity as the one that's currently associated with the Google Workspace subscription in your source console.
If the migration process changes the customer's legal entity, you will get a notification in the console before you proceed.
Migration status is updated periodically. It could take up to 12 hours for a customer's migration status to change to the Ready to be migrated status.
A customer migration usually takes a few minutes. In rare cases, it could take longer.
When you migrate a customer, all their online and offline subscriptions move to the main console.
If you order additional offline subscriptions for the customer, use the main console.
The customer's order history isn't copied from the source console to the main console. Preexisting order history remains visible in the source console and new changes to subscriptions show in the main console.
