Important: Starting in July 2022, the Google My Business mobile app will be replaced by the Google Maps app. You can start managing your Business Profile on Google Maps and Search. If you don’t have the Google Maps app, download it now to easily update your business information and connect with your customers.
With a Business Profile on Google Maps and Search, you can:
- Edit your profile: Easily update your business information, adjust your hours, or add a menu.
- Promote your business: Add photos or updates to stand out on Google.
- Connect with your customers: Connect with your customers by responding to reviews and questions.
Important: Certain features to manage your Business Profile may differ between Google Maps and Search, and the operating system.
Get started on Search and Maps

Who can manage a Business Profile on Search and Maps
Important: If you were recently verified or added to a Business Profile as an owner or manager, it might take 14 days before you get the option to manage the profile directly on Google Search or Maps. In the meantime, you can use Business Profile Manager on the web.
Who can manage a Business Profile: People with owner and manager permissions for the Business Profile.
Who can’t manage a Business Profile on Search or Maps (they should use Business Profile Manager instead):
- People who manage more than 100 businesses through a single account (including through a Business Group).
- People who manage a business with a future opening date set for more than 90 days into the future.
The Business Profile is displayed to the public and shows up in search results when users search for your business. However, only owners and managers of the profile can create posts and reply to reviews.

To manage your profile directly on Google Search:
- Go to your Business Profile. Learn how to find your profile.
- In the menu above the search results, choose Edit profile, Promote, or Customers.

Stop managing your Business Profile
You can add or remove other owners and managers from a profile, or remove a business from your account:
- Add or transfer profile management: Add other owners and managers.
- Remove a business from your Google Account:
- If the business is still open, you can remove the Business Profile from your account.
- If the business is closed, before you remove it from your account, you can mark a business as permanently closed.
