Learn how to change your language or use multiple languages.

Important: Voice Match on your headphones might not be available in all Google Assistant languages supported by your phone.

How Voice Match works with multiple Google Assistant devices

  • If you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” while you wear your headphones, Google Assistant responds in your headphones, even if there is another Google Assistant device nearby.
  • If more than one device responds, make sure that you have linked the same Google Accounts on your phone and other devices. Learn how to fix issues with Ok Google not working.
  • If you want to talk to another device while you wear headphones, include the device name while you say your command. For example, you can say "Play music on the living room speaker."
  • If that doesn’t work, you can take your headphones off to say a command to another device.
