Metrics represent the values that you're measuring. For example, you can measure your account performance by looking at your earnings, number of clicks, number of page views, and so on. Metrics are displayed in an interactive scorecard across the top of your report graph. The metrics that you see depend on which metric family you select from the tabs shown along the top of the reports page. The values of the metrics in the scorecard adjust as you change your reporting options, for example, by choosing a different metric family or changing the date range.
To add a metric to your report, hover over the metric in the scorecard and click its tab. The color line at the bottom of the tab becomes fixed, and the graph updates to display the metric in the same color. To remove a metric, simply click its tab again.
When you’re comparing two different date ranges, you can view the metric values for both timelines by hovering over a metric in the scorecard and clicking the down arrow. Metric values are displayed together in a drop-down for direct comparison. When you click a tab in the scorecard, the graph updates to display the metric in the matching colors for both timelines. To remove a metric, simply click its tab again.
