The Rewarded ads report is a pre-made default report provided by AdMob. It can be used as a standalone report, or you can make changes to its filters, dimensions, and metrics and save it as a new report.
The Rewarded ads report is only available for apps that use rewarded ads and have user metrics enabled or are linked to Firebase.
Filters
Functionally, filters hide unnecessary or unwanted data from your reports. When you select a filter, you're defining what you want to see in the report, and AdMob will hide anything that doesn't match the criteria in its filters.
The following are available for this report and saved reports:
App (Required)
- Select the app you want to filter by. You must select one app. The data for the selected app will be shown in your report. You can use the Search box to search for specific apps by name.
- Click Apply to apply the filter to your report.
- To add another filter, click Add filter and select again.
Dimensions
Functionally, dimensions determine how your report is organized. For example, if you wanted to see your earnings broken down by countries, you could add the country dimension. Adding new dimensions further reorganizes and refines the data.
The following are available for this report and saved reports:
- Date: View performance by date.
Metrics
Functionally, metrics represent the kinds of data or values contained in a report. They're usually arranged in columns and contain numbers or percentages. When dimensions are added, metric values are recalculated based on the new order or groupings the dimensions create. Adding or removing metrics adds or removes a column of information from the report.
The following are available for this report and saved reports:
Your earnings accrued for the selected date range including revenue from the AdMob Network, optimized third-party ad networks, and third-party ad buyers that participate in Open Bidding.
This amount is an estimate that is subject to change.
AdMob estimates the third-party revenue based on information retrieved from the optimized third-party ad networks.
You may see discrepancies between the revenue data reported on AdMob’s reports and the revenue data reported on your third-party ad networks. Below are a few of the possible reasons for discrepancies:
- Invalid ad network optimization setup: Ensure that ad network optimization is correctly set up
- Incorrect ad unit mappings: Every AdMob ad unit should have a corresponding ad unit on the third-party ad network. AdMob scrapes at the ad unit level, so, mapping the same third-party ad unit to multiple AdMob ad units can lead to larger-than-expected revenue appearing in reports and dashboards
- Different time zones: Your AdMob reporting time zone and the third-party ad network’s reporting time zone may be different
- Scraping delays: There will be delays between the data shown in the AdMob reports and what can be seen on the third-party ad network’s reports
- Discrepancies in data: If there is a discrepancy at the ad source, ad unit, or country level, there will be a discrepancy with the total estimated earnings
Estimated earnings accrued during the selected date range for each active user, which includes users who have not viewed a rewarded ad. It's calculated by dividing the estimated earnings by number of active users:
