Upload new creatives to the creative library
New trafficking experience
Ad Manager might look a little different if you're using the new trafficking user interface
The creative library is located under Delivery Creatives. Here, where you'll find two tabs that allow you to add creatives not yet attached to line items:
- Display creatives
- VAST creatives
Under "Display creatives", you'll find two additional options:
These tabs allow to create and manage each kind of creative separately.
"Standard" and "Master/companion" are both display creatives. A standard creative is a stand-alone ad, while a master/companion allows for a main ad with other ads that serve with the main ad. Under "VAST creatives", you'll be able to manage different types of video creatives.
Previous trafficking experience
All creatives are contained under an "All creatives" tab, which included both standard, master/companion, and VAST creatives.
Line items are restricted to creatives in the library that contain the same sizes as the sizes specified in the line item, along with being restricted to creatives from the library that align with the creative type or other creative requirements of the line item.
Good to know about the creative library
All creatives uploaded to Ad Manager are stored in the creative library, including those uploaded via line items. Creatives added to the creative library must first be associated with an advertiser. Creatives in the creative library may be used in line items where the advertiser specified in the order is the same as that associated the creative.
To add a creative to the creative library:
- Navigate to Delivery Creatives and then continue to one of the following:
- Display creatives Standard
- Display creatives Master/companion
- VAST creatives
- Add a new creative. Depending on where you navigated, you'll see one of these options:
- New standard creative
- New master/companion creative
- New VAST creative
- Select an advertiser and click OK.
- Select which type of creative you need to add—either a display creative or a video creative.
If need to add a native format, custom creative template, or standard template, you'll need to select a template from a list and click Continue.
Fill out the required information or required upload assets on the resulting form and click Save.
