Manage your family on Google

1. Open the Google Play app .
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Settings Family Manage family members.
4. Tap Invite family members Send.

Anyone in a family group can purchase a Google One membership and share it with their whole family, up to 6 members total, at no extra cost.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google One app .
2. At the top, tap Menu  Settings.
3. Tap Manage family settings.
4. Turn on Share Google One with your family. To confirm, on the next screen, tap Share.
5. Tap Manage family group Invite family members.
6. Follow the instructions to finish setup.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings" or go to Assistant settings.
2. Tap You Your people Add person.
3. Choose the contact you want to add.
4. Turn on Family group.
5. Confirm their email or phone number.
   • You can enter another email or phone number.
6. Tap Save Add.

The person you remove from your family group:

• Keeps their Google Account and any content on their device purchased with the family payment method.
• Can't make new purchases with the family payment method, or access any services your family group shares.
• Gets an email alert when they're removed.
• Loses access to anything in your Family Library.
• Loses access to your shared storage if your family shares a Google One membership.
  • If they’re out of storage, their files stay safe but they can’t store new things. Learn what happens when they run out of space.
  • Loses access to extra member benefits and Google experts.

If the person you remove:

• Made a purchase with the family payment method and it’s already in process: You're still charged, but you can request a refund for unwanted or accidental purchases.
• Added content to the Family Library: If you set up a Google Play Family Library, any content they added is removed and other family members lose access to that content.

To remove a supervised child from the family group: 

• You must delete their Google Account if they are under 13 (or the applicable age in your country) and you created the Google Account for them.
• You must remove their account if you created their Google Account when they were under 13 (or the applicable age in your country) and you have provided consent for their continued use of their Google Account.

1. Open the Google Play app .
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Settings Family  Manage family members.
4. Tap your family member's name.
5. At the top right, tap More Remove member Remove.

4. Tap the family member you want to remove Remove member.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings" or go to Assistant settings.
2. Tap You Your people.
3. Tap the family member you want to remove.
4. Tap Remove from your people REMOVE.

Before you can delete a family group that includes a supervised child, you need to delete their Google Account if they are under 13 (or the applicable age in your country) and you created the Google Account for them.

1. Open the Google Play app .
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Settings Family  Manage family members.
4. At the top right, tap More Delete family group Delete.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Google One .
2. At the top, tap Menu  Settings.
3. Tap Manage family settings  Manage family group.
4. At the top right, tap More   Delete family group  Delete.
