Blue Envelope Icon?

This is just curiosity and not an actual issue, but I noticed today that the Chrome tab icon for gmail has changed colors from my others.  It is now a blue/white envelope and not red.

I do not use the new inbox style, so it is not the same blue envelope that is used there (see attached image)

I tried looking it up online to no avail.  Any ideas?  This is a work/gov account.

Thanks.

Hi Peggy,

Welcome to the Gmail Help Forum.

As your email domain is G Suite, I’m moving the post to G Suite Help Forum for further assistance.

I am not using Inbox and the blue envelope shown is different than the one that shows for Inbox. I have the unread message lab enabled on two of the accounts I use.  Only one is blue.  The labs have been enabled for years on both accounts and never has one turned blue before.  I have made no changes to my email account in quite some time, so I'm really confused as to why it is now showing blue.
