Sign up for Google Workspace

Sign up for a suite of services to start using Google Drive storage, online documents, Google Meet, and other productivity services with your organization. If you have a one-person business (yourself with no other users), you can sign up with just your Gmail address (ends in @gmail.com). If you have multiple users, you can sign up with a business email address (ends in @company.com). Or verify your domain to get more features.

Sign up with Gmail

By signing up with a Gmail address, you can access Google Drive storage, send signature requests, and sign documents with eSignature. Let clients book time with you directly through a personal booking page, and use other productivity services. If you later need to add more users or get more features, you can verify your domain to access the full suite of services.

Here’s the information you need to sign up with Gmail:

	A Gmail address that you use for your business This is an address that ends in gmail.com. If you have more than one Gmail address, be sure to sign up with the one you use with your business.

Sign up with your business email

Access Google Drive storage, Google Meet, and other collaborative services with your organization simply by signing up with your business email address. If you later need features such as Gmail or Calendar, you can verify your domain to access the full suite of services.

Here’s the information you need to sign up with your business email:

	An email address where you plan to use your Business edition This should be an address where you can get mail. During sign-up, we'll email an invitation to your address. To show us you own the address, you need to respond to the email and verify your email address. Taking this action ensures that no one else can use your Business edition with your address.
	Team member addresses at your same domain After your sign up for Workspace, you can add other users who have email addresses in the same domain. For example, if your address ends in @yourbusiness.com, you can use your Business edition with other people whose addresses end in @yourbusiness.com.

Sign up with a verified domain

To access the full set of Business edition features, including Gmail and Calendar, sign up using a domain you own or manage. Here’s the information you need:

	Your business domain name When you sign up, we'll ask for the primary domain where you plan to use Google services—such as www.example.com (where example.com is your unique name). Expand all  |  Collapse all I want to bring my own domain During sign-up, follow the instructions to use your existing domain. It must be a domain name you currently own. In fact, before you start using your domain with Google services, we'll ask you to verify your ownership. To do this, you need to be able to access your domain's DNS settings or the source files on your domain's web server. You don't need to transfer your domain to us—you can still maintain an account with your domain host. We just enable services for your domain. Who is my domain host? Using the domain with another Google account? Before signing up the domain for a new account here, you must remove it from the other account. I need to purchase a domain If you want to use Google Workspace but don't have a domain name, we can help you purchase one during the sign-up process. 	Your personal user name This will be the personal user name in your domain that you’ll use with Google services, as in [e-mail]. You’ll use this name (along with a password) to sign in to your Google Workspace account and manage services for your organization. You’ll also use it as your email address (if you’re using Gmail) and with all your other Google Workspace services.
	An email address that's not in your domain If you forget how to sign in to your Google Workspace account, we'll need to be able to reach you at an address that doesn't require accessing your account. This address must be a valid address not in your Google Workspace domain (for example, your personal Gmail address) where you currently receive mail and will continue doing so while using Google Workspace.
