Here’s how you can find renewal information, verify domain ownership, and change settings for a domain you’re using with Google Workspace.
How you access your settings depends on how you purchased your domain.
I purchased my domain...
While signing up for Google Workspace-
Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).
-
From the Admin console Home page, go to Domains
Manage domains.
-
Next to your domain name, View Details in the Status column.
- Click Advanced DNS settings or Manage domain (for Google Domains).
- You’ll find the sign-in name and password for your domain host account. After you sign in, you can edit your domain’s DNS records, unlock your domain, or transfer your domain.
If you don’t see these settings, you didn’t purchase your domain through Google. Instead, you must sign in to your domain host directly. For help, see Identify your domain host.
If you already owned your domain when you signed up for Google Workspace, sign in to the account at your domain host. This is typically who you bought the domain from. Learn how to identify your domain host.
To verify domain ownership, follow these instructions.
- Sign in to Google Domains using the Google Account that manages your domain. If this is different from your administrator account, you may need to switch accounts first.
- Manage your Google Workspace domain settings with synthetic records, or manually add your own resource records.
I need help because...
I can’t find some domain settingsIf you don’t see the settings you need, sign in to your domain host directly and access your settings there. For help, see Identify your domain host.
If you forgot your password, see Reset your administrator password.
If you're still having trouble signing in, I can't access the Admin console.
If your Google Workspace account is suspended, you need to resume service before you can access domain settings.
