Access your G Suite domain settings

Here’s how you can find DNS records, see renewal information, verify domain ownership, and change other settings for a domain you’re using with G Suite.

How you access your settings depends on how you purchased your domain.

I purchased my domain...

While signing up for G Suite
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Domainsand thenManage domains.
  3. Next to your domain name, click View Details in the Status column. Then click Advanced DNS settings or Manage domain (for Google Domains). 

  4. You’ll find the sign-in name and password for your domain host account. After you sign in, you can edit your domain’s DNS records, unlock your domain, or transfer your domain.

    If you don’t see these settings, you didn’t purchase your domain through Google. Instead, you must sign in to your domain host directly. For help, see Identify your domain host.

Before signing up for G Suite

If you already owned your domain when you signed up for G Suite, sign in to the account at your domain host to find your settings. This is typically who you bought the domain from. If you’re not sure who your host is, see Identify your domain host.

If you need to verify domain ownership, follow these instructions.

From my Google Domains account
  1. Sign in to Google Domains using the Google Account that manages your domain. If this is different from your G Suite administrator account, you may need to switch accounts first.
  2. Manage your G Suite domain settings with synthetic records, or manually add your own resource records.
