Important: A user's preferred language affects the availability of Gemini features:
- All Gemini features are available to users who have set their language to English. Additionally, Gemini in Gmail and Google Docs now accepts Spanish and Portuguese prompts and will respond in those languages.
- Gemini in Gmail and Google Docs is also available to users who have set their language to Spanish or Portuguese. However, these users don't have access to Gemini in Sheets, Slides, or Meet.

Coming soon, Gemini (gemini.google.com) will have additional data protection for all Google Workspace for Education customers, meaning your chats will not be reviewed by anyone, used to train generative machine-learning technologies, or shared with other users or organizations. Your chats will still be subject to the Google Terms of Service, Generative AI Additional Terms of Service, and Gemini Apps Privacy Notice.
