System requirements and app availability for YouTube Kids on TV

Supported TV devices

  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Apple TV - Gen 4/Gen 5 4k

Supported Smart TVs  

  • 2015 - 2017 LG webOS TVs via the LG content store.
  • 2013 - 2017 Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-Ray Players that have access to the Samsung App Store.
  • 2016-2017 Sony TVs. You may need a firmware update for the YouTube Kids app to run.

Android TV Devices

If you have a device running Android TV, you can install the YouTube Kids TV app from the Play Store.

Supported countries

YouTube Kids on TV is currently available to users in:

The availability of the YouTube Kids app in these countries is dependent on the individual television manufacturer.
