Setup with Google Mobile Management

To use Google Mobile Management you need a G Suite account. After you add Google as your EMM provider, your mobile users need to download the Google Apps device policy app and set up their Android devices.

With Google as your EMM provider, you can whitelist apps and remotely manage mobile devices from the Google Admin console. You can also use other G Suite features, such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to enhance your users' Android experience.

If you want to use a third-party EMM provider, see Setup with a third-party EMM.

Use Google as your EMM provider

  1. Sign into the Admin console at admin.google.com as a super administrator for the company's domain.
  2. Click Device management and then Setup and then Android App Management.
  3. Click Enable Android app management.
  4. Click Enable to confirm.
  5. To whitelist apps click Device management and then App Management and then Manage Applications for Android devices.

If you want to change your EMM provider see Change your EMM provider.
