Blocked Search Feature in Google is not working for me

Hi Everyone,

PC: Windows XP SP3, Running IE V8
I am logged into gmail.
I have Language Set to English
I have location set to US
The search results are set to display on the same page
I have 3 sites listed in the Blocked Sites Lists under my Gmail account

However when I do a search, the sites that I have blocked still keep showing up in the search results?

How can I fix this. Thanks
XC

Hi XC, are you signed into the same Google Account that you've used to block sites?  If you haven't blocked entire domains, only pages from a site, you might see if blocking the landing page url for the domain is helpful.

Hi:

Thanks for your response.

I have only one google account.

I attempted to block a page; and the the entire site; but neither seem to work. For example, I am wishing to block: http://richmondregister.com and not wanting to see any pages from that site.

I am logged into my gmail account; and see this in the Blocked sites. But when I do a search; I still see results from this site.

Thanks
XC

You people can see if using a different browser results in success if you haven't cleared cache and cookies in the ones that you currently use, closed them, and restarted the computer to see if you get similar results.

That's disappointing... notice to both Google and Bing: you'll get all my future search traffic if you (re)implement this feature.
