"Set a reminder" feature no longer works

In Chrome (on desktop or on android)  the "set a reminder" feature no longer works. In the past after entering "set a reminder" in address/search box the new reminder box would appear where it used to be possible to set a reminder. Now it does not appear anymore: only google search results appear. However, it still works on google app or app's search box.

Foolproof check ups:
•Yes, the google account is still connected.
•Yes, the Chrome is up to date.
•No, I did not touch the settings (on phone or pc), and it most likely couldn't change by itself.
•Yes, the notifications are still enabled

Has Google permanently disabled this feature?
If yes, then what a shame. It was very convenient!
If no, then it might be a bug. Then please fix the bug.

More details can be provided upon inquiry.

Best regards,

Edit:
Now it works again

I am also experiencing the same thing. It was working fine and then suddenly stopped working.  I have tried to switch to different google accounts and it doesnt work on any of them.

I *did* do my first audio reminder this morning, allowing Google to access my mic.  Not sure if that is coincidence or not, hope it helps google troubleshoot though as I use this feature ALL THE TIME...

I have just typed "reminder" into the search box for years and set reminders that way. I hope this gets fixed, it's part of my daily workflow!

Still happening. Not every time. I would say around 70% of the time and often works after a few retry's. Any updates?
