Not receiving Google Alerts

I've been using Alerts for several years to find inventory for my business. They worked fine, and I received 20 or 30 a day. Now, I rarely receive more than two or three per day. I can go into Alerts and manually run the searches, and tons of results pop up for which I never received email alerts. I haven't changed anything, and they're all set to "All results" with "immediate" delivery. What's going on?

Thanks!
Jesse

Hi JesseNewton, welcome to the forum! I'd be happy to investigate this for you. Would it be possible to get the email address you're using for these alerts so we can take a closer look? If that's possible, send it to me directly rather than posting it here on the forum. (To send a direct message, click on the arrow next to "Post reply" and select "reply to author").
Thanks!

For what it's worth, I'm still having the same problem after changing my delivery method to RSS. I might get two or three RSS alerts a day, but when I go run some of the actual searches from my Google Alerts, I get far more new results that didn't get delivered. It's almost like Google isn't finding the results in the first place, and I'm having to run the searches manually to "refresh" its memory.

Same here! My Google alerts have not been working for over a month. It's a shame because I use them for work.

I fixed mine - You have to set your preference to "all results" versus "only the best results".  At least that's what worked for me.

Any updates? I have he same issue.

Interestingly new alerts I added a week ago or so are working but my older ones are not.

Hi all,

Does it make any difference if you create new alerts with the same settings as one that has stopped returning the same number of results? I've heard reports from some users that this has made a difference for them.

Thanks

Kousha - I've tried this, and it doesn't seem to help.

I tried deleting my old ones and adding them back but still not working on my end.

Hi all, thanks for the update. We're currently investigating this. Would it be possible to know what your search terms were that you set to Alerts?

Thanks.

Any alternatives to Google Alerts? Yahoo! alerts died years ago.

I get results if I run a search live, but Google Alerts delivers nothing to me any more for my 30-40 alerts. Hurting my business.

Any service providing aggregate Alerts from Bing and Google?

I found a nice solution for Craigslist alerts that works great!
