arillejerizaHi all,
Wanted to give the quick update that we heard your feedback, and an opt-out has been implemented in the Google Search App versions 6.1+. To reach this setting, open Google Now > Menu (three-bar icon) > Settings > Autocomplete > Show trending searches.
For more context on how autocomplete works, please view this article (under 'About search predictions'): https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/106230.
To report any offensive or inappropriate queries, please use this form: https://support.google.com/websearch/contact/report_autocomplete.

Google userI've looked at all the settings.
Even compared them to my sons.
Same phone, can't find where it's coming from

Wara NoraI put this in another thread and was using this advice, but I agree to Belinda, nothing changed. Still trends. This is really annoying.

Google userI agree..it's even frustrating to my nerd son who can usually fix anything...

Andy WilesI really hope somebody finds a way to fix this issue! I keep my search history cleared and nice and tidy, except for those times when I know I'll be returning to it shortly. I cannot stand this new cluttered look, it's driving me nuts! I'll be finding a different way to search if this isn't remedied shortly.

- Post an answer.
- Having your answer selected as the best answer.
- Having your post rated as helpful.
- Vote up a post.
- Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.
Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
