How to stop pop ups and redirects?

I keep on getting pop ups or end being redirected to other websites all the time. I've tried following googles advice and I've used google clean up to remove unwanted software but it cant find anything. Windows defender scanning cant find any viruses either. I've also reseted google chromes settings twice, and I've also reloaded chrome as well. I have no idea what to do now and this issue (I think it's malware) is driving me nuts.

Please can somebody advise me. I need step by step instructions as i'm quite clearly not an expert.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
