You might get a notification on your Android device to rate, review, and tag a movie you’ve recently seen. Your ratings can help others decide which movies they’d like to see.
Note: This feature is available in the US and India, on Android devices with Location History turned on.
Rate, review & tag a movie
- After you watch a movie in a theater, you might get a notification to rate, review, and tag the movie.
- Tap the notification.
- Select the movie you watched.
Turn notifications on or off
Notifications for your contributions are turned on by default. To turn off these notifications:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app

- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial

Any movie ratings and reviews you provide are shared with other users. Ratings, reviews, and tags shared by users don’t contain any information provided by Google. For more information, go to policies for content posted by users on Search.
