Search for images on Google

To find a page or an answer to a question, you can search for a related image on Google Images.

Find images

Important: Images may be subject to copyright. If you want an image to reuse, you can narrow your results by usage rights. Learn how to find images you can use and share.

  1. Go to images.google.com.
  2. Search for an image.

You can also do a search on Google for the image you want to find, then at the top, select Images.

Find related images

  1. On your computer, go to images.google.com.
  2. Search for an image.
  3. Click an image.
  4. Find images:
    • In the right panel: Scroll to find images related to the image that you clicked.
    • In the left panel: Scroll to find images related to your search.

Add an image to a collection

  1. On your computer, go to images.google.com.
  2. If you haven’t already, sign in to your Google Account.
  3. Search for an image.
  4. Click the image .
  5. At the top right, click More More and then Add to collection Add to.

You can get information about objects, animals, and people in Images results with Google Lens. Learn how to get information through Google Images.

Important: A Google Lens search won’t work with offensive images. Currently, a Google Lens search only works with:
  • U.S. English, from Google Images
  • Still images
  • Mobile browsers, but not the Google app
