Video Sitemaps and you!

I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES

My site's URL is: http://video.google.com/
Description (including timeline of any changes made):

It's great to see more and more sites using videos as well as Video Sitemaps! We recently made a blog post about Video Sitemaps ( http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2010/04/help-google-index-your-videos.html ) and would love to hear your experiences, questions or problems.

Cheers
John

My problem is pretty simple. I have had my videos for the past year or so indexed well in Google Videos using a video sitemap located here: http://www.quadcrazy.com/videositemap. About 3-4 weeks ago, they all fell out of Google Video search for some reason. They are just all gone except for one. I cannot seem to figure out why.

I even went as far as to change the sitemap to: http://www.quadcrazy.com/googlevideositemap to test. My site url is http://www.quadcrazy.com. Webmaster toosl says that this sitemap has 158 indexed out of 300. But that's probably in regular search, rignt? When I type site:www.quadcrazy.com within Google Videos, I used to get about 200+, now 1.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. In general, my site has been reindexed or something, because over teh last month. Google Anaytics shows a 30% decrease in traffic for http://www.quadcrazy.com

Much appreciated JohnMu! I hope to hear form you as I have been stumped for months and my results have been the same since early May. Prior to that, I had great Google Video Search listings. 200+. For months, one sole video for my site comes up in Google Video Search, and that's it.

I've got a video sitemap at http://www.hotrod.com/hr-video-sitemap.xml and I'm trying to figure out why it shows that there are no videos indexed from the sitemap even though I'm sure that they are. I can find the videos in the organic search results for the same title name, but for some reason it shows that none are indexed? How long does it normally take to get some indexing results for a video sitemap. We had submitted our first one a couple of weeks ago and we are still get no results. Any ideas?

Hi John Mu, I saw your previous posts and thought you could help. I am trying to get a Video Sitemap for my company to work. We made the Video Sitemap about a month ago, and it says we have 60 out of 68 videos indexed in Google, but no results in the search engines or in video search—beyond some listings of videos that Google has found on its own which do not have corresponding thumbnail images to that of the content on-page) Our videos are hosted on an Akamai video server in one-hour increments and are served to the user using JavaScript and XML that clips the video to the appropriate position and length. We have provided the URL of the raw video, as well as the video player; yet still no luck. Is there something we are doing wrong? How long should we wait for results to show up in search after they have been indexed? Maybe the problem is the duration tag does not match 3600 (one hour)? Any insight you could give would be great. Thanks in advance John. Our Sitemap looks like this: http://www.example.com/pagename/ http://images.example.com/image1234.jpg Page Name This page has everything you need to see about this topic http://example.com/video/video_player.swf http://ourwebsite.videoserver.net/flashfilename.flv 279 current topics politics Politics yes http://www.example.com/section/ no
