To request and take rides in Waymo autonomous vehicles, download the Waymo app:
iOS
Here's how to install the app on iOS:
- Open the App Store .
- Type “Waymo” in the search bar.
- Tap Waymo.
- Tap Get to download the app.
Once the app is successfully installed, you can go through the short setup process and take a ride if you're in an eligible area. If you're outside of a service area, you'll be placed on our email list for future updates.
Android
Here's how to install the app on Android:
- Open the Play Store .
- Type “Waymo” in the search bar.
- Tap Waymo.
- Tap Install to download the app.

How much does it cost?
The cost of your trip is based on a couple of factors, but you’ll always be able to see a price estimate before booking your trip. Learn more about Trip pricing.
Why do you need my location?
Knowing your location allows us to set a more accurate pickup for you, makes it easier to direct you to the car, and more.
How many riders are allowed in the vehicle?
Our Jaguar I-PACE vehicles permit a maximum of 4 total riders, and the front passenger seat is available to use for guests 8 or older. However, in the rare case that an autonomous specialist is present, only a max of 3 riders will be allowed.
You'll need to bring a car or booster seat for your child and install it in the back seat according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

When will Waymo come to my city?
We’re working hard to roll out our service to more areas. If you download the app, we’ll let you know when Waymo comes to your area.
How do I delete my account?
In the bottom menu of the Waymo app, tap Delete account. You’ll see a prompt confirming that you want to delete your account. If you confirm, all of your data will be deleted from Waymo.
