How can I ride with Waymo One?
If you’re in the Metro Phoenix area, you can automatically ride with our public ride-hailing service after you download the app.
If you're outside this area, download the app, complete the setup process to join the waitlist, and we'll keep you updated on when you can ride.

Download the app
To request and take rides in Waymo One’s autonomous vehicles, download the Waymo One app:
iOS
Grab the iPhone you want to install the Waymo app on.
- Open the App Store
- Search for “Waymo One”
- Tap Waymo One
- Tap GET to download the app
Once the app is successfully installed, you can go through the setup process and take a ride if you're in an eligible area, or you'll be placed on our email list for future updates.
Android
Grab the Android phone you want to install the Waymo One app on. Before you can use the Play Store to download the app, you’ll need to have a Google account on your device.

- Search for “Waymo One”
- Tap Waymo One
- Tap Install to download the app

Frequently asked questions
Will I have to pay to ride?
Yes. Waymo One is a paid service, except when a promotion or other special pricing applies.
How much will it cost?
The cost of your trip is based on a couple of factors, but you’ll always be able to see a price estimate before booking your trip. Learn more about trip pricing.
Why do you need my location?
Knowing your location allows us to set a more accurate pickup for you, makes it easier to direct you to the car, and more.
How many riders are allowed in the vehicle?
Our Jaguar I-PACE vehicles permit a maximum of 4 total riders, and the front passenger seat is available to use for guests 8 or older. However, in the rare case that an autonomous specialist is present, only a max of 3 riders will be allowed.
You'll need to bring a car or booster seat for your child and install it in the back seat according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

When will Waymo One come to my city?
We’re working hard to roll out our service to more areas. To stay up to date on where we’ll be driving next, you can check out our blog and social media. If you download the app, we’ll let you know when Waymo One comes to your area.
How do I delete my account?
In the bottom menu of the Waymo One app, tap Delete account. You’ll see a prompt confirming that you want to delete your account. If you confirm, all of your data will be deleted from Waymo One.
