If you get a new device or use multiple devices, you may be able to transfer a pass or card on Google Wallet between devices.
Transfer a pass or card connected to your device
Important: Certain passes or cards can be added to multiple devices and transferring may not be required.
Some passes and cards can only be saved to one device. When you sign in to Google Wallet on a new device, the following passes and cards won’t automatically appear:
- Credit or debit card
- Transit pass
- Mobile drivers license
- ID pass
- Student IDs
- Corporate badge
- Digital car key
- Residential key
- Private pass

- Some transit cards can be moved directly from one device to another in the Google Wallet app. Learn how to move your transit card to another device.
- If your pass isn’t listed, it might be linked to your Google Account and will automatically transfer. Learn how to transfer from your Google Account.
To use the pass or card on another device, you may need to use one of the transfer methods below.

Some passes and cards are saved to your Google Account. When you sign in to Google Wallet on a new device with your account, the following passes and cards will automatically appear:
- Loyalty and gift cards
- Event tickets
- Boarding passes
Tip: These passes and cards can be stored on multiple devices at the same time.
