Find your device serial number

Your Google device has a unique ID number or serial number. Your Pixel phone has an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number.

Find your phone's IMEI numbers


  • Your phone's box.
  • Your phone's SIM card tray.
  • Your phone's Settings app.
    • Tap About phone, then find "IMEI."
  • Google Find My Device.
    1. At the top left, tap your phone.
    2. Tap Information .

To give you an eSIM so you can use Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), your carrier may ask for your phone’s IMEI 2. To find your IMEI 2:

  1. Turn on DSDS. Learn how to turn on DSDS.
  2. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  3. Tap About phone.
  4. Find "IMEI (SIM slot 2)."

Find your Chromecast’s serial number


  • The back of your Chromecast.
  • The device box. Find “S/N” and the number that follows it.
  • Your Chromecast’s on-screen settings.
    1. At the top right of your TV screen, select your profile.
    2. Tap Settings and then System and then About and then Status and then Serial Number.

Find your Chromebook’s serial number


  • The bottom of your Chromebook.
  • The device box. Find “S/N” and the number that follows it.

Tip: On your Chromebook sign-in screen, press ALT + V. Your serial number appears on screen after “SN.”

Find your Nest thermostat’s serial number


Find your Stadia controller’s serial number


  • The back of the controller under the G logo.
  • The device box. Find “S/N” and the number that follows it.
