How to wear Pixel Watch and adjust band size

How to Get the Right Fit and Change Bands on your Google Pixel Watch

Adjust the size of your Google Pixel Watch band for your comfort, and remove and change the band to match your style.

Tips for wearing Pixel Watch

Review these recommendations for wearing your watch for added comfort and performance. Wearing your Google Pixel Watch with the right fit keeps you comfortable and makes sure the sensors can properly collect data.

  • Don't wear your band too tight. Wear the band loose enough that it can move back and forth on your wrist.
    • During exercise, try moving the band higher on your wrist (2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone) to get a more secure, but not too tight fit. Lower and loosen the band after exercise.
  • Wear your Google Pixel Watch on the top of your wrist for optimal data collection.
  • Remove the watch for an hour or so after extended wear. A great time to do this is while you are showering. Even though it is ok to shower with our water resistant products, not doing so reduces the potential for exposure to soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, which can cause long-term damage to the device.
  • If you have eczema, allergies, asthma, or skin sensitivities, you may be more likely to experience skin irritation from a wearable device.
  • Loosen or remove your watch if you experience any skin irritation or other discomfort on your wrist or in your hand, such as redness, soreness, tingling, numbness, burning, or stiffness.

Size up your wrist

Use millimeters for best accuracy. Size down if you’re between sizes.

If you have a measuring tape

Wrap it around your wrist for your measurement.

If you don’t have a measuring tape

Find something like string, dental floss, or maybe even a USB cord. Take that, wrap it around your wrist, and then lay it out on a ruler to find your measurement.

Stretch Band only: If you have a Pixel Watch Active Band

Clasp the Active Band where it feels comfortable. Check which hole is clasped, then find your band size using the diagram below.
