Cancel or change an order
You can cancel an order you placed on the Google Store if it is still pending. If you want to change an order, you'll need to cancel it and place a new one.
Cancel your pending order
It usually takes about an hour for your order to start getting prepared for shipment. During this time the order will be listed as Pending on your order history page. If it is listed as Pending, you can cancel. You can also cancel your order if your item is not in stock.
To cancel an order:
- Open your Google Store order history. Sign in to your Google Account if prompted.
- Search your list of orders and find the one you want to cancel.
- Check the order status to make sure it’s Pending.
- Select Order Details.
- Select Cancel order. If you don't see "Cancel order," that means your order has been prepared for shipment and can't be canceled.
Look for an email from the Google Store confirming your order was canceled.
You can’t cancel an order that’s processing or shipped
Once your order has been prepared for shipment or has shipped, we can’t stop delivery and you can’t cancel it. If you no longer want it, you can choose not to accept the delivery by refusing it in person. If you do this the package will be returned to us. When we get the returned package, you’ll get your refund based on the same terms you’ll find in our return policy.
Change an order
Once you've placed an order, it cannot be changed. If it is still in the Pending stage, you can cancel it and then place a new order.
If it's too late to cancel your order, you can refuse delivery of your package. The package will be returned to us, and you'll receive a refund.
