Understand why Google Store packages are returned to the warehouse

You can use this article to understand and fix issues with packages that are returned to the warehouse because delivery carriers can’t deliver them. This can happen when:

  • You refuse a delivery.
  • Nobody is present to sign for a delivery that needs a signature.
  • Your delivery address is incorrect or incomplete.
  • You request the package to be held for pickup at a delivery carrier location but you don’t pick it up in time.
  • Your cancellation request was processed after the package was dispatched.

If you get an email that says your package was returned to our warehouse, contact Google Store Support. You’ll get a refund that includes delivery fees and tax.
