Edit a campaign

View rule status, change log, and version history

  1. Navigate to the advertiser that contains the rule.

    Steps for navigating to an advertiser
    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Rules.
    The reporting table shows up to 2000 rules.

  3. In the Show list that appears above the reporting table, select one of the following:

    This selection Shows up to 2000 rules that match the following criteria
    Show all
    •   Are currently active
      For example, recurring rules that are scheduled to run in the future, or non-recurring rules that haven't run yet
    • Are currently paused
    • Non-recurring rules that ran within the last 90 days
    • Rules that have been removed within the last 90 days
      For example, if you removed a rule 91 days ago, the rule does not appear and cannot be re-activated
    Show all but removed
    • Are currently active
    • Are currently paused
    • Non-recurring rules that ran within the last 90 days
    Show enabled
    • Are currently active
    • Non-recurring rules that ran within the last 90 days

     

  4. To view the rule's status, look for an icon next to the rules name. For example, if  (green circle) appears next to the rule's name, the rule is currently active and will run as scheduled.

  5. To see a change log for a rule (a list of each time the rule has run, along with the outcome of the rule), do the following:

    1. Click the name of the rule in the reporting table.

    2. If the rule ran successfully and changed one or more items, a Download report link appears in the Report column. Click the link to download a spreadsheet of the items that changed, including the original and new values.

View older versions of a rule

When you save your edits to a rule, Search Ads 360 removes the old rule and creates a new version of the rule with updated settings. To view the settings and change log for old versions of the rule:

  1. Navigate to the advertiser that contains the rule.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Rules.
    Search Ads 360 lists up to 2000 existing rules.

  3. Click the name of a rule in the reporting table.

  4. Above the change log, select a rule version from the View revision history list.
    Click on an older version of the rule.

  5. The settings and change log for the selected version appears.
