OK...good to know.  Any idea why Lighthouse in chrome dev tools doesn't report these iframe elements but Page Speed Insights and Crux do?
Thank you for the replies, I appreciate it.

But why does Google's OWN documentation state in #5 (here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/site-move-with-url-changes?ref_topic=6033084#start-site-move ) "On the old site, submit the two sitemaps you prepared previously containing the old and new URLs."

And that's confusing as how would you submit both old AND new URLSs as sitemaps in the old site?  I don't understand how that would be done, and the link in that #5 just loops back to the same documentation page!!

Looks like some Google documentation needs some updating.
submit the two sitemaps you prepared previously containing the old and new urls
Google Search Central16.12.2020
Hello,

I am preparing to move a site from .com to .org

  • "On the old site, submit the two sitemaps you prepared previously containing the old and new URLs.This helps our crawlers discover the redirects from the old URLs to the new URLs, and facilitates the site move."

However, if you do a search for this phrase "On the old site, submit the two sitemaps you prepared previously" you get several even fairly recent support inquiries that state:
  • "On the destination site, submit the two sitemaps you prepared previously containing the old and new URLs. This helps our crawlers discover the redirects from the old URLs to the new URLs, and facilitates the site move."

So which is it....the OLD site, the NEW site or BOTH sites?  I'm assuming I should do the former since that is what is listed in Google's own documentation.  But can somebody clarify this?  And also, where do I see documentation of exactly how to submit the TWO sitemaps and in what format so that it knows about the 301 redirects to the destination site?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks, as shown on my original post, please see:
Even blogger's own site shows the 403 error in the chrome developer console:  https://blogger.googleblog.com/

THE ERROR:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()

*.googleusercontent.com/*

This is happening on many/most blogs it appears, on all pages and post.  See chrome dev console on this one for example: https://www.happycloudstories.com/

Where/how can this bug be reported please?
Is there someplace this bug can be reported?
@DarkUFO that option doesn't seem to work as data:view.url does not include the url query parameters.  I just posted an update above from an answer I received from stackoverflow.
I received help on stackoverflow with a workaround using ?view=hide-sidebar
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64375158/hide-section-of-blogger-template-on-page-load-based-on-a-string-present-in-the-u

<b:if cond='data:blog.view == "hide-sidebar"'>
 <!-- don't show sidebar -->
</b:if>

'view' must be named 'view'
'hide-sidebar' can be whatever you want

And you can use either == or != depending on your usecase

For example, adding these two bolded lines below in my Contempo template worked to hide the entire sidebar / aside if the page url is https://www.myblog.com/p/mypage.html?view=hide-sidebar

<b:if cond='data:blog.view != "hide-sidebar"'>
  <aside class='sidebar-container container sidebar-invisible' role='complementary'>
    ...lots of lines...
  </aside>
</b:if>

This is a workaround, so I don't know if there could be unintended consequences using this.
Thanks, I'm aware of the conditional codes you mention.

The problem is they only work on == and !== whereas I need something like CONTAINS string.

e.g. I want a section included if url is just /p/mypage.html and I want the section excluded if my url is /p/mypage.html?sidebar=hide  (in other words, exclude section if the url CONTAINS the string sidebar=hide)

Make sense?
Use url parameter to filter the content of a section in the template
Blogger19.5.2020
I would like to filter the display of the aside sidebar-container section based on a url parameter of the page.

I would like to hide the aside section.

My aside container in the teamplate is defined as:
<aside class='sidebar-container container sidebar-invisible' role='complementary'>

I'm using the Contempo theme.

Can you help me understand how to do this?

Hi Craig,
If you can't create a link to a web page, just type out the url in the following format in a text editor, then copy/paste into your browser and it will take you to the page and draw the sales territory:

Google Maps11.11.2019
You might try this Time Zones on Google Maps tool.  It shows all of the time zone boundaries on Google Maps and also the current time wherever you click/search.
This tool will show what county you are currently in, along with the county lines overlaid on Google Maps:  What County Am I In?
This tool will show the county name and county lines on Google Maps based on any address or current location: County Lines on Google Maps
(optionally check "show county labels" in the lower left to have the county names appear)

This is a short-cut that will show a Google map of county lines and county names based on your current GPS location:  What County Am I In?

If you recall what route you took, you can see all of the counties on Google Maps here:  County Lines on Google Maps
This might give you what you're looking for:  County Lines on Google Maps
That would be a nice option to see!
In the meantime, you can manually draw a path on this tool using the "Elevation Profile" button:  Elevation on Google Maps
Here's a way to create an Google Maps-based custom ZIP Code map on the fly by passing a comma-separated list of ZIP Codes as a URL parameter.
You can also choose whether or not you want to show the merged ZIP Code merged boundary (e.g. to represent a service territory, sales territory or delivery area)
And optionally create a title for the map (use the + character to represent spaces in the title). Here's an example URL:

https://www.randymajors.com/p/customgmap.html?zips=10023,10024,10025,10026&zipboundary=show&title=My+Service+Territory

There are several free tools on this site that overlay city limits, county lines, ZIP Codes, townships etc on Google Maps:  City Limits and townships, County Lines, ZIP Codes, Township Range Section

Most of the tools are U.S.-only coverage but the County Lines covers the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and a few other places I believe.
For the US, this tool will display ALL city boundaries on Google Maps:  City Limits on Google Maps
You might try this free tool; it displays ALL of the ZIP Code boundaries on Google Maps:  ZIP Codes on Google Maps
This free online tool overlays Section Township Range on Google Maps: Township Range on Google Maps

(Sorry, not Google Earth)
The site doesn't try to change your home page or access your emails @Kat McD.  The site is a secure site and I find the tool very helpful.
