Any option or way to get pixel pro USA varient repaired in india?google is not yet a global company

Spent few hours on chat support and got to know that one has to travel to the country where they bought the google phone in order to get it repaired. I'd like to know if there's any options available in india to get it repaired?

If this is about fixing a broken screen, battery, any non-mainboard module or back panel (note that not all colors are available), I would try an authorized walk-in repair shop. Unfortunately I don't have the link to the list of those, you can only access it from within India. Maybe a PE based in India could chip in?

If the repair involves replacing the device or swapping the mainboard, that can only be done in the region the phone was sold in since those parts may not be available in India.

In India there is only one variant of pixel 7 pro is sold that is 12/128. I don't have more info why they are denying the paid repair. You can try contacting the support again, or visit the centre or send the device through booking process

Hi jaysolanki,

You can claim the warranty only in the region where the phone was sold, but you should be able to get it repaired (at cost) by pretty much any authorized repair partner that services the model (assuming that it is not a mainboard exchange).

Yes i do understand that and this is not a warranty claim but a paid repair, for which the google support has stated that it has to be done in USA only and can't be done in india. Which sounds just disappointing.

Mine is the 256 version which i got from USA, doesn't it get repaired in india?

That varriant is not available in India, but if the thing comes to motherboard replacement idk, otherwise i think the rest of the part remains the same, the final call can be made by service center only. I suggest you contact the support and reach out to some superior on this, they might able to help you,
