Has anyone else suffered multiple "xxx keeps stopping" messages after the May update?

I've had very few problems with my Pixel (7XL) until last night's May update. Now several times today I've had multiple "xxx keeps stopping" until the phone becomes unusable and is only rectified by a reboot. This has happened 6 times today with interval times ranging from a few minutes to hours. I've not recently installed an application nor ever seen such catastrophic failure. Just me??

Make sure everything is up to date:

Check for Play system updates:
Check & update your Android version
Check for Play Store and Apps updates:
How to update the Play Store & apps on Android
Check for Play services update:
Settings > Apps > See all .. apps > Google Play services > App details > Update (if available)

Reboot the phone into Safe Mode to see if a 3rd party app is the cause.

If the issue persists, a Factory Reset may fix it.

If nothing helps, contact Google Support to discuss how to proceed

Thanks for the reply. All apps were up-to-date but I checked Google Play Services explicitly and it was "pending...". Anyway, cancelled the update and Updated again. This time it installed. Let's hope that that was the problem. Soon see! 👍
