File a warranty claim for your Pixel phone

If your Pixel phone is or becomes defective through no fault of your own, you may be able to return it for repair or replacement. Accidental damage isn't covered under warranty.

Important: As part of our commitment to sustainability, we may remove paper warranty from the device packaging of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones. You can check the model and region warranty during phone setup. This info is available on your phone anytime, even if you also received a paper warranty. To find the warranty, under “Settings,” tap About phone and then Limited warranty.

Note: Warranty terms can vary depending on the country or region where you bought your phone. You can get online and phone support everywhere we sell Pixel phones.

Step 1: Troubleshoot the problem

Step 2: Replace or repair your phone

Important: To obtain warranty service, you must follow Google's procedures. We need your name, contact info, and phone's serial number. We may also need your proof of purchase and help to answer our diagnostic questions for your phone's issues.

  1. Pick your support option.
    • Out of warranty:
If your Pixel phone is out of warranty or your claim isn't covered, you can get your Pixel phone fixed out of warranty. Learn how.
    • Under warranty:
If your Pixel phone is under warranty and your claim is covered, you can make a claim by talking with us. Learn how.

Tip: If you bought your phone in a different country or region, check the paper warranty that came in your phone's box. If we don't sell Pixel phones where you are, you may not be able to get online or phone support there.
