Enter payment info automatically in apps

You can save your credit and debit cards to Google Pay to pay for items later. When you enter info in a new form in an app, your phone could ask you to save that info.

Note: Some of these steps work only on Android 8.1 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.

Turn off requests to save payment info

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Tap System And then Languages & input And then Advanced.
  3. Tap Autofill service.
  4. Tap None.

Change where your info is saved

To choose which app or service saves your payment info:

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Tap System And then Languages & input And then Advanced.
  3. Tap Autofill service.
  4. Choose an option. If you don’t see the option you want, tap Add service.

Where your payment info is saved

When you make a purchase on your phone, your phone could ask whether you want Google to save your card info. If you accept, your info will be saved to Google Pay.
