Manage your Google payment info

When you buy a Google service (like Google One) or buy something through a Google product (like Google Play), the payment info that you provide is saved to your Google Account.

Add, edit or remove saved payment methods

You can view, add or make changes to an existing payment method saved in your Google Account.

Add a payment method

Tip: Your first payment method must be a credit or debit card. After you've added a card, you can add other payment methods like bank accounts.
  1. Sign in to payment methods.
  2. At the bottom, click Add a payment method.
  3. Select the payment method that you want to add.
  4. Follow the instructions to finish adding your payment method.
  5. If you're asked to verify your payment method, choose an option from the list.
  6. Find and enter the verification code.

  1. Sign in to payment methods.
  2. Next to a payment method, click Edit or remove.

Manage personal info on your payments profile

When you first make a purchase through Google, your payment information gets saved in a payments profile. The next time that you buy something through Google, you can reuse the info in the payments profile.

Any payments profile that you create is associated with your Google Account.

What is a payments profile?

Your individual Google payments profile stores information like:

  • The name, address and tax ID, when required legally, of who's responsible for the payments profile.
  • Credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts and other payment methods that you've used to buy through Google in the past.
  • Other addresses that you have added across Google services, like autofill on Chrome and Google Pay.
  • Receipts and other information about past transactions.
  • Subscriptions and recurring payments.

Manage more than one payments profile

If you use your profile for personal payments, you can only create one individual profile for the country or region that you're in. That way, you can manage all of your Google purchases from a single place.

Find charges, receipts and other past payment info

  • For most purchases, go to activity.
  • For some purchases that you have made through Google products, go to subscriptions.
  • If you can't find your purchase, sign in to the Google product through which you made the purchase and find it there.
  • You can store a digital copy of your receipts in Google Wallet. When you want to return or exchange a product, you can use these digital receipts to provide proof of purchase. Learn how to add your receipts to Google Wallet.
