As of June 15th, you can no longer send, request, receive, claim, or withdraw money with the old Google Pay app. For these features and more, download the new Google Pay app and visit for tips and support.

Change or delete a payments profile

Once you’ve created a payments profile in Google Pay, you can make changes to it or close it.

Note: Individual profiles can no longer invite people to join or manage their profiles. If you accepted a profile invite in the past, follow the instructions at the end of the article to leave it.

Edit a profile

You can edit a profile you created or are an admin on.

  1. Sign in to Settings.
  2. If you have more than one profile:
    1. In the top left next to your name, click the Down arroDown arrow.
    2. Choose the profile you want to edit.
  3. Make your edits. You can change information like your address and payment methods.
  4. Save your edits.

Remove a profile

To remove a payments profile, you’ll need to close it.

Leave someone else’s profile

  1. Sign in to
  2. On the top left of the page next to your name, tap or click the Down arroDown arrow.
  3. Choose the profile you want to leave.
  4. Tap or click Settings and then Manage payments users.
  5. Next to your name on the user management card, tap or click the Down arroDown arrow.
  6. Choose Remove and confirm you want to be removed.
