Amount got debited from the customer’s account but I have not received it yet, where is my money?

Your amount will reflect in your account within 3 business days (usually within hours) from payment initiation. For real time updates, we request you to refer to your bank statement during this period; sometimes you don't get SMS confirmation for the same.

I don’t see any rewards on Google pay for Business app?

Offers on the Google Pay for Business app is account specific. Therefore, we request you to check the offers section on the app to know the offers you are eligible for.

I can see an offer on my Google Pay for Business app but I don’t know how to win this?

Offers on the Google Pay for Business app is account specific. For information on how to win the reward,  we request you to go through the Offer Terms & Conditions.

To access the Offer Terms & Conditions:

  1. Open Google Pay for Business app.
  2. Scroll down and tap on “See your Offers” section.
  3. Tap on the Reward that you have to access the Offer Terms & Conditions.

Why is my account suspended and why do I need to submit verification documents?

  • We are unable to verify the details submitted during sign-up, so our account verification process is required and it is a standard procedure for every Merchant.
  • Once you've completed the verification process, you'll have confirmed your financial identity and increased the security of payments service for everyone!

Why is Google reviewing my account?

In an ongoing effort to protect Merchants and Google from fraud during transactions, our Specialist team reviews all the details submitted to Google's payments service and you will usually receive an update within 48 hrs.

How can I edit my business details in Google Pay for Business?

Merchants have an option to view their business details in Google Pay for Business app. However, an option to edit these details is not yet available. 

Note: You will still be able to receive payments with your existing business details. 

Can I send money from the Google Pay for Business app?

Google Pay for Business is a receive only app. There is no option to send money as of now.

How can I increase limit on Google Pay for Business app?

You can increase the limits by getting your businesses verified via video verification (option available on the app). Check out more information about the video verification process.

Can I accept payments using credit cards?

No, payments can be accepted only through UPI enabled apps as of now.

What are the transaction charges/hidden charges?

Google is offering a promotional rebate on transaction charges and instant settlements. You can find all the charges applicable on your account by tapping on Settings and then Payment method settings. Learn more about Charges and Rebates.

How to add another bank account on Google Pay for Business app?

To add a secondary bank account:

  1. Open the Google Pay for Business app.
  2. On the home screen, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Bank accounts.
  4. Tap Add bank account.
  5. Enter your Bank account number and 11-digit IFSC Number (Indian Financial System Code).
    • If you don't know your IFSC, tap Search for IFSC to look it up using bank name and branch. Your bank must work with UPI (Unified Payments Interface), a banking system for money transfers on payment apps.
    • To specify your primary account, select the account and tap Set as primary account.

When will I receive the Onboarding kit/QR?

The Google Pay for Business Onboarding kit usually take 3-5 day to be dispatched. Once dispatched it will be delivered in 14 business days . Meanwhile, we recommend you to print the QR code from your mobile device and have it displayed at your billing counter.

What is Video Verification?

Video Verification (VV) is a process where you will have an option to reach out to support team and get your businesses verified. Without video verification, you will still be able to receive payments. video verification is similar to Know your customer (KYC) verification process.

The business KYC verification is required for us to help assess ownership of the business, address validation and business category validation to help appropriately serve our users and merchant partners. 

Some of the benefits of verification are:

  • Monthly limit increases
  • Be searchable by your business name
  • Phone number mode of payment activated
  • Enhanced account security
  • Merchant rewards
