How can I update my business category

To update your business category:

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay for Business app .
2. Tap Store Settings Advanced settings Store details.
3. To edit your business category, tap on the Edit icon.
4. Once you have made the changes, tap Submit for verification.

You will have to request verification by tapping on the “Start video call” button to start a video verification call with our support team. After the changes are verified, your business category will be updated.

Note: Video verification support availability - 9 AM to 6 PM IST, 7 days a week.

How can I stop accepting payments from RuPay credit cards over UPI

You can disable accepting RuPay credit card transactions as a payment method by following the steps below:

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay for Business app .
2. Go to Store settings Payment methods.
3. Tap Turn off in the payments method page in the RuPay credit cards on UPI section.
4. On the next page, confirm your choice.

I am charged incorrectly for RuPay credit card payments

Transaction processing fees are based on your business category and yearly turnover.

To get a transaction breakdown:

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay for Business app .
2. Go to the transaction you want to review.
3. Review the transaction details.

Where can I find my invoices

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay for Business app .
2. Tap Advanced settings Invoices.
3. Under the UPI Credit Card acceptance fee section, tap Manage.
4. Tap View invoices. If transaction processing fees have been deducted from your settlements, you will see invoices in this section.
5. Tap on a particular invoice to view more details.
6. In the invoice details, tap Download to save the invoice as a PDF document on your device.

Why am I not able to accept payments above ₹ 2,000 from RuPay credit cards over UPI

To accept payments above ₹ 2,000 from RuPay credit cards over UPI, please follow the steps below:

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Pay for Business app .
2. Tap Store settings Payment methods.
3. If you are eligible, you will see the option to activate RuPay credit card payment acceptance.
4. At the bottom of the page, tap Set up now and follow the steps prompted on the screen.
5. If you accept payments that attract a processing fee, you will be prompted to create a payment profile.

Why am I not able to see the option to accept RuPay credit card payments over UPI in the app

To be eligible to accept payments through RuPay credit cards, you need to:

• Be a verified Google Pay merchant. Learn more about the verification process.
• Have registered PAN information with Google Pay for Business.

Note: There may be other conditions (ex: business category) which affect your eligibility.

Why do you need my ITR

To verify your business turnover for the previous financial year, you can upload your ITR.

Payments accepted through RuPay credit cards over UPI attract a processing fee, which depends on your business turnover.

• If your business turnover is less than ₹20 lakh in the previous financial year, there is no processing fee for payments of up to ₹2,000 made with a RuPay credit card via UPI. You will be charged a transaction processing fee for each payment above ₹2,000 made with a RuPay credit card via UPI. To view the transaction processing fees applicable to you, visit the Settings Payment methods page in your app.
• If your business turnover is above ₹20 lakh in the previous financial year, you will be charged a transaction processing fee for all payments made with a RuPay credit card via UPI. To view the transaction processing fees applicable to you, visit the Settings Payment methods page in your app.
