How long do coverage studies take to complete?
The time it takes for coverage studies to finish depends on the number of devices in your project. A project with only a few devices may only take a few minutes, while a large project can take hours.
Why do coverage studies take longer than usual?
Coverage studies might occasionally appear to run indefinitely when they’re actually completed. If it seems like coverage studies take longer than usual, you can safely reload your browser to check if the studies are actually completed. If they’re completed, you’ll no longer see "Computing…" on the top toolbar, and you’ll be able to use the "Select coverage" drop down menu to display your coverage studies.
Why are completed coverage studies blank?
If nothing shows on the map when you select a completed coverage study, you can check if the channels are enabled in the “Channels” section on your device configurations. If no channels are selected, all coverage studies will appear blank.

Why can’t I remove a Viewer from my project?
Only the Owner of the project can remove Viewers.
If you encounter the error message "Unshare failed: Internal error encountered," when you attempt to remove a Viewer from a project, try to reload your browser and select the project again. Usually, you’ll find that the Viewer was removed on your first attempt. Occasionally, you might need to try again. Learn more about sharing projects.
Why can’t I delete my old project?
The Owner must remove all Viewers from a project before it can be deleted. If you encounter the error message "Delete Project failed: Internal error encountered," remove all the Viewers and try again.
When you attempt to delete large projects, you might encounter an error message "Delete Project failed: Request contains an invalid argument." Reload your browser, and you’ll usually find that the project was deleted successfully.
Why do I experience “Upload failed” or ”Upload completed with errors” when I try to import devices to my project?

This error will show if one or more devices from the .csv you’ve attempted to import weren’t successfully added to your project, or were added but include errors in one or more fields.

Reasons for import errors:

Why can’t I create a new project?

If you’re unable to create a new project, you probably don't have Creator permission in the organization in which you’re attempting to create a project.

If you have access to projects from multiple organizations, make sure you have the correct organization selected in the Projects list. Learn how to manage Network Planner projects.

If you don't have permission to create a new project in your organization, have the administrator of your organization send an email to Network Planner Support to request that your account be added as a Creator in your organization.

What browser should I use with Network Planner?
Google has only tested Network Planner with Google Chrome but you can use other browsers at your own risk. It's recommended to use Google Chrome with Network Planner since Network Planner Support doesn't offer assistance for issues which might appear if you use other browsers.
Why is my Export Coverage report failing?

Exporting Coverage as either GeoTIFF or KMZ might fail if the boundary used for exporting is large or complex, such as having holes within the boundary.

If you've imported a complex boundary from another source, you can try to use a contiguous boundary drawn within Network Planner instead. Learn how to draw a boundary overlay.

Try to use a medium or low resolution for a KMZ format export, or try with a smaller boundary, if the area of the boundary is large.

Learn more about Export Coverage reports.

Why can’t I delete a data points overlay?
When you try to delete data point overlays with more than 10,000 points, it often fails. As a work around, you can export the sites from your current project and import them into a new project.
