   Improved propagation heatmap radius & resolution You can now configure the radius and resolution of propagation heatmaps in the Network Planner. Mobility Macro cells projects now use the gWave Macro propagation model The model has been pre-calibrated using an extensive CW measurement database, with frequencies ranging from 700 to 5800 MHz in diverse environments (Rural to Urban), delivering outstanding out-of-the-box accuracy. Related resources Analyze results with Network Planner

2. Export coverage heatmaps

   June 2021

   You can now export coverage heatmaps in Geotiff and KMZ formats. View coverage heatmaps in geographic information systems like Google Earth. From the Network Planner, go to Reports to download your coverage map. Learn how to export coverage heatmaps.

3. Create projects quickly & accurately with new Network Planner features

   May 2021

   More LTE band options You can select FDD and TDD band options from the E-UTRA frequency band menu to create projects quickly. From project settings, under “Systems,” use the dropdown to select frequency bands. Manage Network Planner projects Adjust UE height from Path profile To plan more accurately, you can adjust the UE height of your antenna to find a clear Fresnel zone. With the new Path profile, you can find the start and end points of the path profile, the distance between the two, and find the necessary height for a clear Fresnel zone. Plan your coverage area

4. Find individual sites more easily

6. Refined gWave propagation modeling, DPA neighborhood overlays, data point legends, & locked project settings

   Refined gWave propagation modeling gWave, the fixed wireless propagation modeling engine, has now been tuned to provide more accurate signal level computation when crossing foliage. It also gives an unbinding informal signal level prediction inside foliage areas.
