Why this issue is happening
Two or more of your products use the same item group ID [item_group_id]
, but do not appear to be variants of the same product, as they do not have the same value for other grouping attributes, such as brand [brand]
.
How to fix your issue
To fix this issue, submit a value for brand [brand]
attribute that matches the other variants in this group.
To ensure that each of your products shows correctly, only group products that are variants of the same product and make sure the attributes for those products are consistent. You can create additional item group IDs for different products.
Fix products one by one directly in Merchant Center
Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Click on the title of the product you want to fix, then click Edit product.
Edit the brand [brand]
attribute so that it matches the other variants of your product.
Select Save.
Fix multiple products at once
Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Select the Download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and edit the brand [brand]
attribute so that it matches the other variants of your product.
Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.
