Google transfers customer payments into a Google Payments account. Funds are distributed in regularly scheduled SEPA transfers to your bank account.
How to set up payments
A user with Payment Manager access should follow the steps below to provide information Google uses for payment setup and tax verification.
- Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
- Click Payments on the navigation panel.
- Under "Configuration", enter your business information following the on-screen instructions.
- Click the Payment accounts tab, and then click Add payment method.
- Enter the details for your chosen payment method.
- Click Save.
You’ll need to verify your payment method before you can receive payments. Final verification can take up to 3 days, and you won’t see this deposit reflected in your invoice or settlement report. You won't be paid for orders until all steps are complete.
In France, you'll be charged when a return label has been used - meaning that the barcode was scanned by the post office, or based on the tracking URL page, the parcel was dropped at the post office.
Merchant Center Payments Analyst users can download statements and reports for orders. On the Merchant Center dashboard, navigate to Payments > Statements to download reports for orders. Learn more About settlement reports
Note: European law requires a specific procedure called “Know your Customer” (“KYC”) from payment service providers to validate their customers’ identity. KYC allows governments to assess potential harmful and non-compliant business partners. Fill out the KYC form here.
Make sure that your name and address in your payments profile match the information you submit via this form and the information on your certificate of incorporation.
We may need to request additional documents to verify your business type. Make sure you fill out the form with legally accurate information pertaining to your business. Also, make sure your name and address in your payments profile are up-to-date and match the information submitted via the form.
After we receive all of the requested information, the verification process can take 2-3 business days or longer based on the criteria above.
Until you've completed the verification process, you may not be able to take orders from users and receive payments, which may prevent you from selling on Google.
