How to fix: Missing value: shipping [shipping]

Add shipping costs for your product

A custom icon for Merchant Center Classic Article Header.

Some of your products are missing shipping costs. These products will remain disapproved until you provide a shipping cost by using the account-level shipping settings or adding the shipping [shipping] attribute for each product.

Google recommends that you set up general rules at the account level, and override those settings for specific products only when they differ from the general rules. The shipping label [shipping_label] attribute can also be used to group your products together to specify special delivery rates.

You can specify up to 100 shipping attributes for each product, depending on the geographical split of your shipping services.

If you're targeting multiple countries, ensure you have shipping costs for each country in the currency that matches the feed currency.

  2. Click the tools icon Tools and setting menu icon [Gear], then select Shipping and returns.
  3. In the "Shipping" tab, click Add shipping service or select an existing service.
  4. Configure your shipping costs using the options available in the table.
  5. After we've verified your shipping costs, the notification on the "Diagnostics" page will be removed.

  1. Sign in to your Merchant Center account.

“Issue title” = Missing value: shipping [shipping]
  2. Check your product data for those products (using the ID), and make sure each item has shipping label [shipping_label] data. Shopping ads will also require valid shipping [shipping] data and may require shipping weight [shipping_weight] data.

Step 3: Resubmit your product data

  1. After you’ve updated your product data, resubmit it using one of these methods:
  2. Next, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the Diagnostics page.

Keep in mind: It may take some time for your change to be reflected on the Diagnostics page.
