Some of your products are missing shipping costs. These products will remain disapproved until you provide a shipping cost by using the account-level shipping settings or adding the shipping [shipping]
attribute for each product.
Google recommends that you set up general rules at the account level, and override those settings for specific products only when they differ from the general rules. The shipping label [shipping_label]
attribute can also be used to group your products together to specify special delivery rates.
You can specify up to 100 shipping attributes for each product, depending on the geographical split of your shipping services.
If you're targeting multiple countries, ensure you have shipping costs for each country in the currency that matches the feed currency.

Instructions
Step 1: Check and correct the account-level settings for the shipping services
- Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
- Click the tools icon , then select Shipping and returns.
- In the "Shipping" tab, click Add shipping service or select an existing service.
- Configure your shipping costs using the options available in the table.
- After we've verified your shipping costs, the notification on the "Diagnostics" page will be removed.
Step 2a: If you are using item-level settings to modify the shipping rules for specific products, view the affected products
- Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
- Select Products on the navigation menu, then click Diagnostics.
- Click the Item issues tab to view current issues affecting your products.
To download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues:
- Click the download button next to the filter button , beneath the graph and above the list of issues.
To download a list (.csv) of all affected products for a particular issue:
- Find the issue under the “Issue” column, then click the download button at the end of the row.
To view a list of up to 50 products with this particular issue:
- Find the issue under the “Issue” column, then click View examples in the “Affected items” column.
Step 2b: If you are using item-level settings to modify the shipping rules for specific products, correct the shipping costs for each item
- Filter the downloaded report so that you only see products with:
“Issue title” = Missing value: shipping[shipping]

Check your product data for those products (using the ID), and make sure each item has shipping label
[shipping_label]
data. Shopping ads will also require valid shipping[shipping]
data and may require shipping weight[shipping_weight]
data.
Step 3: Resubmit your product data
- After you’ve updated your product data, resubmit it using one of these methods:
- Next, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the Diagnostics page.
Keep in mind: It may take some time for your change to be reflected on the Diagnostics page.
