About Google Merchant Center

What is Google Merchant Center?

Google Merchant Center is a tool that helps you upload your shop and product data to Google and make it available for Shopping ads and other Google services. Learn more about getting started with Merchant Center.

What are Shopping ads?

Shopping ads allow shoppers to quickly and easily find your products on Google. As a seller, Shopping ads offer you the following advantages:

  • Attract more potential buyers. Reach shoppers while they are searching for items to buy on Google.
  • Control your product information. Maintain the accuracy and freshness of your product information, so that your customers find the relevant, current items that they're looking for.

By linking your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts, you will be able to surface your products directly to users through Shopping ads.

Shopping ads are currently available in over 40 countries, and in beta in many more. Learn more about available countries and currencies.

Local catalogue ads are available in all countries that support local inventory ads.

How do I show my products on surfaces across Google?

Opting for your product information to be shown on surfaces across Google allows people to see goods from your shop on various Google platforms, including rich product results on Google Images and rich results on Google Search. This program is free to you. All you need is a product data feed in your Merchant Center account. We also recommend having structured data on your website. Google uses to scan websites and generate feeds automatically. Learn more about showing your products on surfaces across Google.
