Why this issue is happening

For one or more products, the promotion effective date [promotion_effective_dates]and [promotion_display_dates] attribute shows expired. This error occurs because of its past expiration date.


How to fix your issue

The attribute involved in this is [promotion_effective_dates] and promotion display dates [promotion_display_dates]. The fix for this issue is to extend the end date of the promotion and it will be live again.

Fix promotions one by one in Merchant Center directly

Step 1 In your Merchant Center, click Promotions under "Marketing" in the left navigation menu.

Step 2 In the "All promotions" tab, click the title of the promotion that you want to extend.

Step 3 In the "Edit promotion" page, scroll to the bottom and update the start and end dates.

Step 4 Click Save.

Fix multiple promotions at once

Step 1 In your Merchant Center, click Promotions under "Marketing" in the left navigation menu.

Step 2 In the "Promotion sources" tab, click the title of the feed you want to edit.

Step 3 Click Download report under "Processing report".

Step 4 Filter the downloaded report with the issue title "Promotion expired".

Step 5 Extend the end date of the promotions using the promotion effective dates [promotion_effective_dates] or the promotion display dates [promotion_display_dates] attribute.

Step 5 After updating your feed, click Upload file.

Step 5 After uploading the feed, click Re-process feed.
