To provide a safe and trustworthy Shopping ads ecosystem for users, and to comply with emerging regulations, Google requires merchants to provide basic and verifiable information about their business and identity.
Google uses the business information you submit to display to users who view your products online. Your customers can also use this information to contact you to request support for order status, updates, and other issues.

Add your business information
- In your Merchant Center, select Business info under "Settings", and select Edit business details.
- Enter your “Business name” and select Save.
- Fill out the fields under “Business address” and select Save.
- Fill out the fields under “Customer service” and “Korean business registration number” as needed. Select Save after completing these sections.
- Tick the box in “Adult content” if your website contains adult-oriented content as defined by Google's policy. Select Save.
Requirements
Follow these guidelines to make sure Google and your customers understand the business information you're submitting.
Your business details:
- Business name: Enter a short name that represents your business name. Use clear and professional language. Learn more About adding a business name.
- Business address: Add where your business is registered according to their respective text fields. Make sure that the required fields such as “Address line 1”, “City”, and “Postal/Zip code” are filled out.
- Customer service: Use your website’s working URL that displays your current business contact information. Include your domain name in the “Email” field. Use your valid business contact number in the “Phone number” field.
- Korean business registration number: If applicable, your 10-digit Korean business registration number following the format “XXX-XX-XXXXX”.
- Adult content: Make sure you’re familiar with adult-oriented content before confirming whether or not your business advertises this type of content.
- Your online store: Confirm the online store of your business by entering your online store URL.

- Checkout: Using the checkout feature, you can make the shopping experience quick and easy for customers by giving them the option to go directly to your checkout landing page or cart from your listings.

- Accepted payment methods: Google Search may show the digital wallets found on your website or the ones you added yourself to users in the US. You can drag and drop these options to put them in the order you like best.

Common issues
If the information you’ve provided doesn't meet our formatting requirements, your products or your entire Merchant Center account may be subject to warnings, disapprovals, or suspension. These issues can prevent your products from showing on Google.
Business name not showing correctly
- Additional text or suffixes
- Promotional text
- Repeated and unnecessary punctuation, capitalization, or symbols
- Personally identifiable information (PII)
- Offensive or inappropriate language
