Promotion tags [promotion_tags]

Use the promotion tags [promotion_tags] attribute to specify subsets within product categories, product types, and brands that your promotion applies to.

  • Acceptable keys: google_product_category, product_type, brand
  • Format: {attribute1: “valueA”, attribute2: “valueB”}
  • Maximum length is 500 characters.

Best practices

These best practices can help you go beyond the basic requirements to optimize your promotion data for performance.

  • This attribute should be used when the promotion applies to a subset (but not all) of the items in a category, type, or brand, and the specific item IDs are not known.
